Bishop

Bishop

Bishop is the horse you think of when folks say "Ranch Horse"

AQHA registered with names that you expect "Peppy, Lena, Doc Bar"

He has really quick feet for a big horse and moves off his front end to work cattle at a fast pace.

Bishop works gates, pens cattle, rope and drag any size calf to bulls with ease.  He has a smooth trot and lopes on a loose rein.  Nice lite neck rein and works off your feet with all the buttons you need to get the job done.  He has great ground manners and nothing spooks him.

He does get snorty when you mount up in the saddle but then walks off nice and calm.  Bishop is a great ranch horse and could easily transition to a performance horse in the arena.  I would say he is for an intermediate rider due to his fancy handle and the fact that he is snorty when you get on.  That would make a beginner nervous.

Bishop has a really nice gentle demeanor and with the more individual attention he gets you can tell he really enjoys connecting and bonding with you.
